Gulf Jewellery House is known for providing traditional Omani handmade jewellery for the last three decades along with the introduction of nouveau designer jewellery and watches thereby expanding their luxury goods portfolio. Gulf Jewellery House specialises in customised jewellery manufacturing under the supervision of skilled artisans & goldsmiths who have been part of the industry for the last four decades.

Gulf Jewellery House’s vision is to expand retail outlets across the Sultanate of Oman, thereby making traditional khaleeji jewellery available to everyone.

Gulf Jewellery House LLC was established in 1992 by Morarji Arunkumar Soni, who has called Oman their home since the 1970’s. Morarji Arunkumar Soni along with his eldest son Vatsal Soni – General Manager to Gulf Jewellery House, always believed in ‘growing together with the community’ and have received plaudits from customers and local businesses alike.

Morarji Arunkumar Soni, hailing from a business family in India, moved to the Sultanate of Oman in 1977. Having learnt a specific set of artisan skills in smithing of gold in India, he began his practice as a goldsmith. His specialty was making custom bangles that were popular due to a shortage of the specific technical know how in Muscat at the time.

In 1992, he opened his first retail store in the heart of Muscat city at Capital Commercial Centre better known as C.C.C (now ‘Al Qurum Complex’). Bringing innovative designs and options to customise the jewellery in his workshop, led him to succeed as customers and suppliers cherished visiting the store.

The cyclone GONU in 2007 and its subsequent severe flooding, caused near total destruction of the headquarters. It took more than a year to curb the derailment and normalise operations. Tremendous support from suppliers & customers during those testing times helped Gulf Jewellery House to rebuild and further prosper by expanding into multiple retail outlets across Muscat.

You can still visit the first store which is now into it’s 4th decade and still the headquarters at Al Qurum Complex in Qurum.

Along with direct retail clients, Gulf Jewellery House also functions B2B. Our corporate clientele include- ministries, hospitals, e-commerce businesses, embassies, construction companies and other jewellery outlets
